I spent nine years running IT operations for a university in São Paulo. Infrastructure, service management, support teams, vendors. I got very good at understanding how complex systems work and how real people interact with them under pressure. Then I moved to Australia and realised that everything I had been doing was, at its core, a design problem.

That shift led me to UX and product design, where I have spent the last six years working across web and mobile for clients in retail, hospitality, safety, and business services. I am comfortable working across the full design process, from discovery and research through to interaction design, UI, and developer handoff. I have delivered over 150 projects across UX and visual design, and I know the difference between work that looks good and work that actually ships.

Visual craft remains central to how I work. My graphic design background means I care deeply about hierarchy, legibility, and the details that make an interface feel considered rather than just functional. My IT background means I understand what happens after handoff, and I design with that in mind from the start.

I also use AI intentionally as part of my workflow, mainly for research synthesis, brief interpretation, and documentation. It helps me move faster on the parts that do not require creative judgment, so I can spend more time on the parts that do.
